Practice 1

Q1
The teacher I admire the most korean and korean history teacher. To begin with, they are very kind to us. In addition, I feel them to friend not teacher. For example, I go to amusement park with them, so I admire them very much.

Q2
I prefer to traditional class. One reason I prefer this is easy to understand. I ask question, professor answered it. And I met my friend. Another important thing is professor mentor to me. Simply put, professor provide advise reference 4 grade school, and I can decide to easy to my job.

Q3
The notice described about new tutoring system. The woman think a new tutoring system is not better than a old tutoring system. One reason is the student have to good typing skill. During the conversation, the woman says, students are not have good typing skill, however. So the new tutoring system is very slow. Another reason that student should buy or upgrade their computers. Woman says that it's very expensive to students.

The professor begins by telling about elephants as keystone species. According to the lecture, elephant is keystone species in Africa. In the reading, the keystone species is important animals like a crucial stone in an arch. Elephant give aim to environment recycle. Elephants eat a lot of plant and defecate a lot. So their habitate can be protected from plant by elephants and other animals can live in this area.

The man's problem is that his kitchen is massy. In my opinion, they must clean together, so they have plan for clean kitchen. Although they are little tired, this is best option. Second of all, they can felt worth. However, if his classmate don't participate this plan, it could be a labor to him.

Q6
During the lecture, the professor talking about exaggeration and understatement. This two conventions are used in literature and opposite. Exaggeration mean, something is more great and reality. It is not true, but it is used to delive more clear intention. On the other hand, understatement mean, something is less great and reality. It can be heard little feel unwell.

Q1
The teacher I admire the most is my korean history teacher. To begin with, she/he is very kind to the class. To illustrate, she/he always says nice things to us like how we are smart. In addition, I feel close to her/him, as if she/he was a friend, not just teacher. For example, one time I went to an amusement park with her/him. For these reasons I admire her/him very much.

I prefer to take a traditional class over one that is online. One reason I prefer this style is because it is easy to understand. When I ask a question, the professor answers it. Whereas, online, I may not get my questions answered as easily. Plus, in a traditional classroom I can meet my friend. Another important thing is that the professor can mentor to. Simply put, my professor can provide advice and serve as a reference for grade school. And this can help me get a job more easily.

One reason is the students will be required to have good typing skills. During the conversation, the woman says, students who do not have good typing skills, will not be able to benefit as much from this new online system. So, she feels that the new tutoring system not so great. Another reason she feels this way is because students should buy a new one or upgrade their computers in order to get the most out of the new system. The woman says that this would be very expensive for the students and therefor feels it is better to simply keep the current system in place.

This makes the environment more hospitable to other animals and plants that live in the area.

The man's problem is that his kitchen is messy because he and his roommates don't have a good system of keeping it clean. The woman offers him two different solutions to this problem. In my opinion, they must clean the kitchen together. Although they will be a little tired from cleaning, this is best option. Second of all, they will become more responsible by doing this. By working together to make their kitchen clean, each roommate will develop valuable skills that they will need in their future.

During the lecture, the professor was talking about exaggeration and understatement. These two conventions are used in literature and are opposite in meaning. Exaggeration is used to make something sound greater than it is in reality. It is not true, but it is used to deliver emphasis to a statement. One example of this is when someone says, "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse." On the other hand, understatement is used when making something sound less great than it is in reality. It is used to downplay a certain action or result. For example, if a boy asked his friend how he did on a test and the boy said, "I did okay," even though he actually got a 100%, that boy would be understating the truth.
